Hey,

So I was cruising at 40MPH, and I slowed down to about 5MPH. Then when trying to accelerate back, it was all choked up and I could only go very slow. If trying to accelerate the engine reved-up no problem but it was all white smoke behind the boat and no acceleration. Also the stream coming out of the jet was very white, like if it was pushing air, not water. I thought the jet intake was jammed with seaweed again so I get the boat on the trailer as I was very close to the warf. Well no seaweed at all. Checked the impaller both side its all clean.

When I got home we started it out of the water (with hose plugged in) and the engine reved up no problem, but there seems to be a metal noise and some random knocking coming from somewhere.

So what do you guys think it is? Impaller looks allright? Shaft??? Engine?

They all clank out of the water

It just sounds like you were cavitating from something in the pump. It does not always take much to cause cavitation. Double check from both ends again while on the trailer and put it in the water and see.
