Hi!

I have a oil leaking which gives me oil in the hull. Yesterday I dismounted the top deck (is-model) and started to search for the leak. Started by pressurize the oil system through the breathing hose. Even by just blowing with my mouth i found that some where air was slipping out. I found that it was leaking out of the crank position sensor. Dismounted it and found that the sensor wasn't sealed at al. If i look in the parts catalog there doesn't exist any sealing there either.

So my question is should it be any oil behind the crank position sensor at al?
If it shouldn't, do I have a bad crankshaft sealing which let oil out into the crank position sensor area, or maybe to high oil pressure??

The PWC works perfect and I don't get any trouble codes. Bought the craft just a month ago and have just drivven it a couple of hours so doesn't know so much about its history.

thank you for ideas and answers!

Update!

okej have been investigated the ski further today. I am pretty convinced that it should be oil behind the crank position sensor (in the PTO house). Although it feel strange that there don't exist any o-ring or sealing around the sensor....
I started it up in the garage and found that there is some oil coming out from the super charger intake as well. So i have some suggestions about what could be wrong:

1. Something causes to high oil pressure and the sealings in supercharger can't handle the pressure, neither the crank pos sensor (without seals).

2. There should be a o-ring around the sensor and the sealings in the supercharger are bad.

3. There should be a o-ring around the sensor and the sealings in the supercharger are ok. The oil being in the intake of the supercharger comes from the breathing hose and lies in the charger, when it revs its just become visible.

Thank you for suggestions and ideas! // Max
