I still have my original gray fuel lines on my 98 GTX limited. Does anyone know off hand of what size hoses i need? I think there is two different sizes, and what length would i need for both?

30 psi or 50 psi?

Thanks

Your ski uses a combiation of 6 & 8 metric, 0r 1/4" & 5/16" American Inside diameter.

Disconnect your supply & return lines from carbs, tank bafel, the nut from fuel filter/ separator, the screw from selector cap (pull that off) and retaining nut and push valve to inside, then pull the complete octopus assembly out of ski. You might have to clip some Zip ties and replace them to keep the new lines all snug. We don't want anything in the ski unsecured as we pound them, Right? Measure your old, put all back together same way. Draw a pic of orientation of bafel & vale if U don't understand install. Bills86e

Thanks Bill , does it matter if the new lines are rated for 30 psi or 50 psi?

Just the std napa fuel line is fine.
No need to waste the money on the high pressure fuel injector line.

Does anyone know how much 1/4" and how much 5/16" i need?

Just because i want to swap out 1 hose at a time.

Thanks

If you don't do the vent breath lines, I think 8' of each would just work. You can do the old school method of putting a drill bit in the old and the new end and then pulling it thru. One by one. Bill

Which ones are the vent breath lines? I would like to do them all together.

I like the old school tricks!
:hurray:

It startes from fuel bafel then a Y or T, the one goes up hits a directional check valve that only opens (at 3-5 lbs psi) if tank has a vacumn to let fresh air in. The other after that fitting, goes to also a check valve that only lets tank over-pressure
expell (3-5 lbs) out the vent under rub rail. This one is more criticle to work, because an over pressureized tank can FORCE the needle valve in the carb to open
an leak excessive fuel into to intake manifold & lower case. (wet plugs). Bill

The fuel baffle has 4 fuel lines tapping into the top of it.

Should i swap out the Vent breath lines as well?

If so how much more fuel hose would i need and what is the size of the vent breath lines?

So far i have 8' of 1/4" and 8' of 5/16"

Thanks:willy_nilly::willy_nilly:

I used about 20' or little less of napa line and used all stainless 1/4 hose clamps . My new ski I bought marine grade that is supposed to be ok for ethenol fuel which is all of todays gas stations
