Grey Fuel Hoses?

I was wondering about how long it should take me to R&R those hoses & clean the selector valve? I have a 95/GTX. I've read here that I need 17' of hose? Thanks in advance.

doesn't take that long just do them one at a time so you don't get confused. take one off cut a new off the old and replace and you need a bunch of hose clamps too

ps clean carbs and internal filters too just the lines dont cut it

Kurt, I knew nothing about cleaning the carbs and it took me about 3 hrs to replace the lines and clean the carbs and i was going pretty slow. it took me about an hour for the first carb and 15 minutes for the second. if you have the manual it's actually pretty easy, just be careful not to tear the diaphram. i was bogging down at 4000 rpm and 30 mph, after cleaning i'm running at 6700 rpm and 60 mpm. does anyone know if that is top performance. This is a '96 GSX with 80 hrs. I have not cleaned the RAV valves yet.
