Hey there. I wanted to know what you all are using for stabilizers. I have been using the sta-bil red (I already had it in the garage). I found that Sta-bil also has a blue marine one as well and of course the XPS. Just wanted to see what you peeps are using as this is new to me. I also hear people using seafoam every few tanks. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

On a side note, I need a new battery - any recommendations?

I don't like the Seafoam or any other cleaners in a 2-stroke, There is nothing they are going to fix and there is the potential they could remove some of the lubricating oil film on a 2-stroke engine.

Fuel stabilizers are a good idea for storage and I like the Sta-Bil Marine (blue).

I like the Yuasa sealed YTX20HL-BS from Amazon but the price has gone up a lot from $85 to $110. I typically get about 5 years out of them using a BatteryTender.

No Seafoam, got it. Do you use the Sta-Bil marine on every tank fill or just for storage? I have been using the gas at local station that has ethanol. looks like the Sta-Bil marine helps with that.

I have a Yuasa, not sealed and won't keep a charge for a month. It came with the ski so not a bid deal to get a new one. Thank you for your help......again!

I use it in every tank unless I am out for a long weekend and will be refueling every day, then just when I get home for storage.
