Hey there, I have a 1998 xp limited. Everyone is saying to replace the grey gas lines. Does anyone know how many feet of line I need? Also where to buy it?
Thanks!!!

There is a lot of threads on the Tempo fuel line problems. For your model you will need about 16 ft of 5/16 and 6 ft of 1/4 inch line. Most just use standard NAPA automotive fuel line from auto parts store. Use stainless steel screw clamps instead of those oketer clamps.

A tip is to connect the new line to the old with a drill bit and pull new line in as you pull old out.

The fuel selector valve needs a good cleaning or replacement as well. Unless you clean out fuel tank really good you may want to install an inline filter just before carbs to prevent the small internal filters from clogging up again. I did that after having to pull carbs for the third time and it's much easier to change out on a regular basis.
