I had a clogged fuel injector ordered a new one and just got back from my first ride... before injector I could only get 4500-5000 rpm switched it out and now get 7100ish 50mph give or take around 45 it would rev and get a little more until 7100 and it topped out like that's the rev limit. My question is should I have bought an entire new set w matching numbers? Didn't know they had different numbers until reading a post after I already purchased mine the new one is 066 and the old ones are 14/143 it definitely runs better w the new injector but am wondering if that's why I'm not getting everything it has or if it could be a different cause the ski kind of feels like it starves then goes starves and goes... has anyone else had this problem or heard that a different injector would cause this? It is an oem injector made for a rxt and seems to spray fine however it is not on the same spray schedule as the others? I'm assuming they all spray the same time atleast the other 2 do... any advice will be appreciated thanks... I ordered it from the dealer and would think they would have told me I needed a entire set if that was the case but have been surprised by less from those guys...
