I bought a 2009 GTX255S. It is a nice riding machine! It only was ridden 4 hrs last year. I filled it up w/ 93 octane, I put 5 gallons in so it had quite a bit of old fuel in it. What is the best way to freshen the fuel or can it be pumped out thru the filler. It stumbles a little taking off then opens up. I put plugs in after that first ride. Supercharger has not been rebuilt. I will be pulling it and sending it for a rebuild. My service manual cd is on the way. I do have a right keypad error but everything seems to work? I dont know? 170 hrs.

Sounds good. I'd probably siphon the fuel by inserting a hose down the fill hose. If the fuel is more than about 6 months old, especially if it wasn't stabilized.

Good idea to check/rebuild the supercharger before it tosses it's guts. Very well could be it's responsible for the stumble.

I haven't tried siphoning fuel yet. I wasn't sure if I could, thought there might be a restricter in the tube to prevent it. I have been told that the super charger could be responsible for stumble from others also.

I got an oil/fluid extractor from Harbor Freight 6.99 plus 20% off and had an additional coupon for a free tape measure.. Worked great...did the fuel then then oil tank in mine..

It's pretty common to remove stale fuel in watercraft, thus it's unusual I think to see theft resistant restrictors. Even in the case of larger cabin cruisers it's usually a fairly straight shot to the fuel tank so I expect you can reach the fuel.

Well, I pumped fuel tank dry and refilled w/ fresh 93 octane fuel and replaced spark plugs. I took it out yesterday and what a difference that made!!Totally smoothed it out. I ordered some small parts yesterday. A right key pad, rubber button for cruise and start, New bilge plugs and a shock end for the rear deck. I also got a a spare and mount for the trailer. I will pull supercharger this fall and send it to my uncle at http://www.havasujetskirepair.com/. He has been repairing and racing jetskis all his life. And Baja racing. I contacted him before buying a ski and he told me Seadoo all the way! He told me to run it until fall then send him SC and he would go thru it for me.
