2017 Wake 155

Ok, I forgot, lol maybe, but, started and rode 200 feet to no wake bouy with towing clamp on exhaust hose, and overheat alarm went off. Pulled key off within about 10 seconds. Has code PO545 now.

I then removed the clamp I put on hose for towing, ha. So now it can't be overheating, right? But everytime I start it, the check engine icon is on and the engine overheat beeping goes off for a few seconds, then turns off, and the words "overheating" scroll on gauge once. Seems to operate normally.

Would it be just a clear the code thing? Or worse?
