Fogging the engine.

I saw a reference somewhere about “fogging” the engine after salt use. I assume it is a cleaning procedure. What is meant by that and how is it accomplished? Thanks, just getting started with a new RXT 300 and a Spark

After salt use the engine should be flushed with fresh water and a salt neutralizer like Salt-Away and the inside and out also.

It is suggested to spray the engine with a protectant like the Seadoo spray and let everything vent and air dry for a couple of days.

Fogging is done at the end of the season and is just putting a little fogging oil into the cylinders through the spark plug holes to stop them from rusting from any condensation.
