This is my first post (I think) so be gentle with me.
I have a 2008 1800 Challenger. Yesterday (second time out for the season), we went to grab the anchor under the floor hatch and it would not open. We wound up tearing off the latch ring in an attempt to get it open. I am thinking that gunk got into the rim and sealed it up.
Any suggestions on getting it open (and sources for a replacement latch.
I was thinking of finding a long metal piece to work around the edges (don't want to use a screwdriver for fear of messing up the finish).
