Hey all! I had my 95 Speedster out yesterday for the first time. Runs great thanks to the diligent maintenance of the previous owner. I did notice something that I wanted to discuss here.

It seems that the throttles are not matched. My port engine runs at a higher RPM than the starboard engine when the throttle levers are positioned equally. I found that I could compensate by adjusting the port lever down a tad to get the Rpms of both engines to match. Is this normal or is there an adjustment that I can do?

Btw: both engines idle at about the same rpm.

could be multiple things....carb/s need clean, to much oil being injected, bad plugs, need to clip plug wires, good motor may have bad wear ring in pump assy..etc.

I slept since Sunday, so my brain did an overnight dump of excess data!

I want to say that I was off by 1 to 1.5k. Once I got it going 40mph, the range between the rpm's narrowed to where they were almost equal.
