Finally hit the water! She ran good! Need to clean or replace the fuel selector as she would only run on RES. Thought it would be fun to share a few pics and a quick vid that I made using a new GoPro setup. (need to tilt the camera down a bit more...)

WOW! Great looking ski!

Now get that JetSki life jacket off before your seadooo notices and blows up to spite you.

Thanks!! It's was amazing to see the gel coat come to life after a wet sand, compound and polish.

Lol on the vest, was wondering if I'd get a little heat for it :-P

I love seeing your son on the ski with you, mine started riding with me when he was 2 now he is 9 and and has already told everyone the 01' XP is his and reminds me everytime I tell someone it's mine.

Awesome!!

The boys are the main reason I picked up a sit down, I want to be able to take them around legally (they fit just fine on my 750sx lol). Plus I’ve always wanted to see what these 787’s were all about. Glad I picked one up. So much fun!!

My wife’s I already diggin it!!

Makes it all worthwhile.

If you haven't already figured it out, when you are sitting you can put your legs over theirs and it basically locks them in so they don't have to hang on so tight, I have actually had my son fall asleep that way so I would hold him with 1 hand and use the throttle with the other. After a few rides he would tell me, "Lock in & floor it dad!".

Awesome tip! I'll give it a try!! I did notice that I can hold them a bit better just by placing my feet on the slanted front portion of the foot trays "the dead pedals"

Another awesome thing about that hood style is the mirrors make great rests when you sit up on the bars crossed legged. I know it sounds odd but it works great, a little dicey in the chop but fun on smooth water. It's my "Zen" thing, be one with the machine.

Those are beautiful XPs, I always have my eye out for a 96' but so few of them exist in AK.......
