Factory Spec1 on 96 Challenger

I am thinking about putting a spec1 pipe in my boat. I am getting it ready for the summer. Anyone else use this pipe in there boat? I called the people at factory pipe and they said that this would not work. I am unable to see how it would not though as the engine is the same as the XP ski. I think I have even more room than the ski under the hood also. I mean the seadoo pipes can be swaped. Any info you have is greatly appreciated. Thanks !

no one? Any one getting 7,500 + RPM in there boat? What pipe are you using? What head and compression do you have? What about the fuel system... Using fuel pump in carb or aftermakert one?
