Excessive amount of water in the hull in my GSX limited

Recently had my GSX limited serviced. Engine rebuild the lot. A huge bill so was expecting the ski to be perfect.
Been out 3 times now and after less than an hour I'm having to pull the ski out the water to drain it. Usually the water level is up to the battery tray.
I've ran it on a hose and can't see any water coming out. I've greased both nipples in the PTO/driveshaft .
Anyone have any ideas where to look next?

Water regulator? Did you try backing it on the boat ramp or running with no seat?

What's the water regulator? No never tried running with the seat off on the ramp

I'd run it on the ramp with the seat off to see if you can see a leak or water coming from anywhere.

Also try NOT running it and seeing if it still takes on water just sitting there.

A few possible causes:
Drain plugs in the back (the ones you manually unscrew to drain it on the trailer) are open or leaking
Coolant system leak (from a hose or water regulator) -- but you should be able to see this when you ran it on the hose
Hole in the hull somewhere
Carbon ring or bellows leak (near the PTO).. but if you have two nipples you may have a bearing instead of carbon ring
Bad seal at the jet pump causing water to come in the back of the hull

Any of these could be causing it. You'll need to get it in the water and look.

You said you had it rebuilt? If so, they had to pull the engine and it is possible they did not realign the engine to the drive shaft/ jet pump. That will possibly cause the carbon ring not to seal properly. You said with hose no water in the hull, I would look at the carbon ring. Get it in the water enough so you can run it with the seat open and see if water is being flung around the bellows area.
