First post here so firstly, Hi to all!:seeya:
Few weeks back, ski stopped and error code P0340 registered on cluster after the cam chain broke.
Error code is "cam sensor error".
So,I fixed all of that, started the ski on the hose and again the code came up right away.
Tried to clear it with Candoo pro, witch it said it did, but as soon as I start it, code comes right back.
So here's what tests I did.
Checked with a new CAPS sensor.(didn't help)
Checked fuse, fuse OK
Checked continuity between connector and ECM for the 2 wires going to it, checks OK.
Checked 3rd wire if it's got 12V, it does.
Did my timing once more just in case it was off, but it wasn't, played with it, "advanced, retarded", nope.
Ski starts on most occasions, but I only see 200 rpm's on the dash while it cranks.If I try to start it say a couple of minutes after I've been riding it, it won't start on the first attempt.
I have to wait a minute or so then it usually starts.
Apart from the hard starts, wrench showing up and annoying beep every so often, ski seems to run normally.
Ski is a 2010 RXTx with some mods to it.
Any suggestions I can look at?
