Engine ID Plate

I'm pretty sure I have a 09 4 tec. But wanting to make 100% sure, which of the 14 numbers/ letters tell the year please?

Why not just look at the VIN tag vs the engine tag?

yeah [MENTION=27645]lamajama[/MENTION] that plate is a right pain the arse to see had to get a pic with the phone, however though I'm unsure of the last 2 digits on it telling the year though cause what I see says 14, I know the year of the engine isnt a 2014 due the shaft and carbon seal assembly ( large nut on the carbon sea and a rubber coated drive shaft) which was only used during 2009 and 2010.. ( seadoo supplement program) or what ever they called it.
I have to get it right though due to ordering a drive shaft kit for it.
