Engine Compartment Insulation

I have a 03 Utopia 185 and the foam insulation on the engine compartment panels lasted maybe 2 years before it started to disintegrate. My question is, has anyone else had this issue and did you replace it? I don't want to spend 200 dollars only to have it fall aprt again in a year.
