Engine Alignment Tool - Houston, TX

Looking to rent or buy a tool in the Houston area. Where can I buy one since they are out of stock at SBT?

Where are you in Houston? Clear lake here and i have one. It's a pretty quick operation as long as you have the shims ready and the pump removed. What ski are you working on?

I use sheet metal of varying thicknesses and cut my own.

For Alignment tool, I would refer you on this SeaDoo forum with link "/inexpensive-engine-alignment-tool-diy.73567". I can't post full link because I'm too new to posting to this site.

Given SBT tool out of stock for a while, I did this and it worked...about $50 for parts, just need a tool to cut round stock in one place. It works; made a big difference.

For Shims, I bought some off Amazon...little pricey but nice. I tried SS washers and they are OK, but little tricky to remove.

For shims, i just use galvanized sheet metal and cut them out with metal shears using an original as a templet.

I rented one over the summer from a guy in Atascocita: Seadoo Engine alignment Tool

My mounts had sagged WAY bad so I had to use almost a full shim kit from SBT to get it close.
