RESTO Easiest way to remove seadoo decals on engine hatch?

Does anyone have any efficient ways of getting the decals, glue and caked dirt off. All suggestions are much appreciated!

I always start with the heat gun if that is a no go I get out the eraser wheel

+1 I just removed all the decals from mine, and the heat gun should be your first option, as you can burn through an eraser wheel pretty quickly on the bigger decals. The eraser will come in really handy for whatever is left behind after you heat and peel though. You may have to use a razor on some tough spots. Just be careful and only use it as a last resort.

Thanks for the replies, didnt have a eraser wheel, so we wet block sand with a fine grit we had laying around!
