Hello All,

Is there drain plug gasket available for the jet skis?? If so please post the number an/or size needed. If none is available I was thinking of finding an o-ring that would do the job properly. This GTX took on a good bit of water after sitting 12 hours in the water. I was thinking my shaft seal was leaking but I checked it when I installed the wear ring. After check ing when we got the ski out of the water one of the plugs did not have an oring to seal it properly. I installed an automatic bilge pump in the ski and am thinking of putting it on a switch.

I just get replacement o-rings that fit at the auto parts store. They have o-rings from the factory.

Got it thanks. I'm just trying to do the right thing and get these skis on spec. LOL I didn't think that much water would leak past the plug but hopefully that's all it is.

THe newer ones like my 2003 GTI have a ball in the body of the plug that closes if you forget to put the plugs in like a scupper valve. I have thought of changing out all my skis to it but haven't gotten around to sourcing them yet.

I found some on amazon while shopping for a gasket. I did't find anyone that sold the gaskets. I had an o-ring at home that fit nicely. The ball check seems like pretty good idea.
