Hi guys,
I am dreaming of the days when we get to go ride again. It’s 15 degrees here with about a foot of snow on the ground.
Anyhow, this will be my first time de-winterizing the Seadoo. (99 GTX Ltd.) I wanted to ask what you all do to get ready for the spring.
I have pulled the battery, filled the block with antifreeze. Filled the gas tank and stabil. Ran it with the stabil mixed in then re filled.
Do you guys take apart the Carbs and clean them every year? I am on a fresh rebuild (last spring)with Genuine Mikuni parts. Do you pull and inspect? Or do you just try to start it up and only check if it isn’t running well?
Just wanted to know what the best practice is!
Thanks,
Ken
