Well after checking the DC CDI readings against the recommended values in the manual and after consulting with a technician our course of action was to replace the CDI. The used part arrived today and after taking readings I found many of them are in the same range as the one I planned to replace. The difference between the 2 is that the gray/white wire is in range on the replacement unit.

I am just wondering about the other readings not being in line with book readings. I know now everyone is familiar with this stuff but I am hoping someone will be able to help me understand. :)

On both units the Black wire and White wire continuity will start at a value and keep climbing from 4M to 38M where it will show OPEN. I imagine this is the system responding meter input voltage.

Here they are the readings (New Pt.) is in reference to the one I purchased off Ebay. :)
