Coolant??

What kind of coolant does a 2000 Seadoo GTS take? Cap says Prestone but owners manual doesnt list. Plus where is the coolant reservoir, any help??

A 2000 doesn’t, it’s a Water cooled 2-stroke direct from the lake.

Theres a black cap that says Prestone though...kinda thrown off by that..

You must be looking at a little valve made by 'Prestone' in the 1/2" line running from pump/hull to the head. Some people put this on the ski for when they get towed they shut the valve instead of pinching the line.

You pinch or close this line during towing to prevent the exhaust and engine from filling up with water.

Someone could have used the "prestone" Tee and cap to loop the rotary valve chamber oil lines if they went premix and removed the stock oil tank.

Your 2000 GTS does not take any coolant as said above.
