On my 97 XP- I was told by one person to remove the line going to the front of the motor and cap it off. Leaving the line to the back of the motor to oil the RV.
Then I read somewhere that I need to take out the gear where the line attaches to teh front of the motor but to leave both lines installed.
Which is it?

There are three lines running from the tank to the engine. Two lines come from the bottem of the tank and one has a inline filter. The third line comes from the t fitting on top of the tank.
What line goes on the other end of the t fitting? Is the Oil pump on top or bottem of tank? Which line is feeding the cylinders?

Some guys just run the line around from the front to the back of the engine and delete the rest including the oil tank. Fill the line with oil. I also added a T fitting so I could top it off if needed.

Youll need a block off plate for the oil pump and two little rubber caps to cover the inlets on the intake.

You have two options, leave the oil tank in and delete the pump and plug those lines off, or delete the tank and pump and hook up the front and rear lines on the engine. Its a bit of a job so maybe you should just leave the tank in and delete the pump and lines related to it.

The pump is on the mag cover.. What YOU might call the front of the engine (facing the front of the machine.)
