compression test

Anyone know what the correct procedure for a compression test is. I have heard of different ways.

Remove plug wires and plug, place wires on orange grounding bar, open the throttle about halfway and do the dry test, place a coffee shop spoon of oil into each hole before making the wet test, ideal is 150 but most important is with 15lbs of the other one/s, once you have this verified proceed to clean everything that has touched the fuel so you do not burn out the sliding parts, if you mix oil and it forms gel clean the oiling system with kerosene while using premix gas and stick with the kind of oil easiest for you to buy and you will not have to clean the goop out again, once the new oil has flowed thru the lines then just gas and go.
