Took my 2022 Switch Sport out over the weekend in Red Fish Bay, Aransas Pass. All was good for most of the ride, went through some seagrass. Ran the IDF and all seemed well. Got home and was getting ready to perform exhaust flush and was startled to hear a “clanging, rattling” sound from the impeller / engine area. I checked the intake and didn’t see anything. Was debating taking it back to the water to run the IDF again, or should I take it to the shop. It’s still under warranty. Any thoughts?

Well if its a Rotax engine like all of the other Seadoos and it was on a trailer out of the of the water , you will be glad to here they all sound like that.

Unless you are experiencing some acceleration concerns, your ski is likely normal. They all have a slight rattle sound on a trailer without any water back pressure on the impeller being in the water.
