Challenger 5672 Engine Swap to 787's

I currently have a Challenger 5672 (14.5 ft with twin 720s), and I just came across a Challenger 1800 with twin 787s for a really good price. I'm considering swapping the 787s into my 5672. I know it's not a direct bolt-in, but since I wouldn’t need to hunt down two individual 787s or custom fab all the mounting hardware, it seems like a much easier path overall.

I saw a similar swap on GREENHULK that I plan to model mine after (image below). My main concern is whether I’ll need to modify the driveshafts or pump setup — like drilling new mounts or adjusting engine placement to match alignment.

I figure the ~60 HP bump would make this a pretty fun build. I had originally considered going with 951s, but between the mixed reviews and the fact that I already have a complete donor Challenger, I think this route is more practical.

Any advice, concerns, or tips before I dive in? I would like to keep the shorter "lighter" boat..

Or perhaps it's not even worth the time or money and just keep what I have an send it!
