I am still looking for a carb for a 1999 Challenger 1800, since I broke one of the fuel fittings. My question is, is everything the same as on other year/make carbs, that I could swap over everything from one carb body to another? I am guessing if I by the same size I can swap all of the other components.

What size should I be looking for as a replacement? This is the front carb on one of the motors.

Thanks

Any seadoo 787 carbs, they're all the same.. :) All 96+ jetskis, and boats that have the 787 engines...Like I said before, take a picture of square carb broken part with the fittings and post it in the wanted section on pwctoday.com

I have attached the pictures here. So I bit the bullet a tapped the inlet port hole to accapt a 1/8NPT fitting that can be hooked to the 1/4 hose.

I asked all over and got the same answer - I need to buy a whole new carb.

Has anyone else tapped these ports? Does anyone see any problems doing this?

For right now I just have a straight fitting, but I think I will change to a T like the original. If there are no major issues with it, I may also tap the rest of the ports for ease of disassembly in the future.

Any thought?
