Can't get speed up

Tooky 96 challenger out for a pretrip run and it ran great. Took it out the next day with kids ran great too. Shut down for 30 mins or so and bilge pump quit had water in compartment got pump fixed and water out and it started to run bad I would throttle high rpm normal 4000 bit not even going fast enough to bring nose down any help would be appreciative someone mentioned a wear ring to check I don't know where to even look for it

Check your intake grate. If it was running great before, unless you sucked a rock or stick up into the pump, I doubt a wear ring went bad that fast. More than likely you have a blockage on the intake.

I checked the grate but where is the pump and can I get to it to check inside of it
