Can not get over 35mph

Hello i am new here i have 2009 gti 130 se I launched it the other day Full Throttle I can't get it over 35 miles an hour I checked the intake grate nothing seems to be caught up in it any help would be appreciated

If the engine is reving up and the ski isn't going faster like a clutch slipping it's either your wear ring or impeller or both.

dumb question but are you using a learners key ? if not then check impeller/wear ring clearance
