Looking into buying a pair of skis. Want to go used but really don't know the legacies that come with these skis. There are two that I am looking at, Both come with a trailer, covers, and registration thru 2021.
First one ($7500) is two 2003 Seadoo XP DI, 72 hours, only used 93 octane gas and 2-stroke cylinder oil but unsure of the brand or type. The bodies look mint but I am worried about the multiple issues with the DI engine including needing a Candoo computer to figure out what is wrong if something does go wrong. Owner says they run great. Second choice ($5000) is two Seadoo SPX, one 97 with a complete rebuilt engine and the other is a 99 with original engine. I know the owner and he has maintained them meticulously since he got them in 2010.
