So my original bilge pump went out. I am replacing it with a Rule pump with an automatic sensor built in. It now works perfect in auto but I cannot get the manual switch on the helm to work. Is this as simple as a bad switch possibly or is there something else that needs to be done with the wiring since it has a built in float instead of the separate float switch? I am definitely not electrical savvy.

I have a 2011 Speedster so may be different. There are 3 wires for the Bilge. Ground is common and one of the other 2 come directly from the battery for the automatic bilge. The other comes from the bilge switch. That switch is fed in mine from fuse box behind the console. I had the same problem and my 3amp fuse was blown. My bilge pump doesn't sound great so I ordered another one as well.
