Hi, I've got a stock but freshly rebuilt 720, single carb in my GTI.

I'm looking to get some more hole shot out of it. Not bothered at all about top end due to where I ride. I just want a lot more pop from a standing start.

I know a lot of you will say sell it and buy a 787/951, but the ski is in perfect condition and I love the colour scheme so I'd like to stick with it.

Can anyone recommend an impeller for the 140mm pump that would help me out?

Thanks in advance :)
Mark

Can any of the gurus help? I'm hoping to purchase soon. I'm just about recovered after some major surgery in March, and getting back on my ski has been my main motivation!

Here is a nice impeller chart for recommended props:

For yours, they recommend SD-CD 14/22. But this will be for an all round prop.

Lower pitch(lower numbers) will give you more hole shot. The first number is estimated pitch at low speeds and the second number is estimated pitch at high speeds. Keep in mind lower pitch acts as a lower gear, so your seadoo will be able to hit the rev limiter easier. Also, you may want to think about changing the wear ring when changing the impeller. I don't know what standard practice is for it, but I feel it should be changed.

I can't give real world experiences as my first impeller is still in the mail (silly customs) and I don't own that seadoo.

Skat trak swirl is the best for holeshot...it my personnel best impellor...but you will loss 1@2mph top speed

+1 for solas, holshot is much better and just general hookup is much improved.
Haven't tried a Skat Trak yet.
