Ball bearing with bellow replacement

I have a 2008 seadoo challenger se 180
I am trying to replace the ball bearing with bellow and also the carbon seal but i am having problem with the clamp i cant pinch it i bought the tool but there is now space to get it,any help will be helpfull thank you

You will have to take the supercharger out to get it, If it was mine I would put the shaft and the carbon seal assembly in before tightening the clamps. Only tighten them just snug , make sure the surfaces are dry and clean of oil. Make sure the tell tale groove is completely covered when the bearing is going onto the shaft.

Okay thank you.. but i want to know if its fine to put a regullar clamp instead of the ones that comes since i cant seem to use that crimp tool if its fine to use regullar clamp then i can tight it but i wasnt sure why we have to use the ones that came since its impossible to do without removing the supercharger ..Thnx

I used a regular clamp, but they were all stainless and a narrow band and made to go only to 1.25'' , but I put 2 of them together and they fit perfectly. Not sure if you have a hose dealer near you but they are Ideal Tridon Stainless 14/32 - 012. If you have an ETorx 8mm socket and wrench you are only 3 bolts away from getting the supercharger out. Beside the one I used is a regular sized clamp , just as an example.

I have those clamps,and also i have the Etorx 8 mm i was just scared to remove it since i wasnt sure if its hard and what should i look for..it should be much easier to just put the clamp that you mention instead of removing the supercharger i think but if there is no complications with the supercharger to remove it i would do that .Thank you so much

Position the clamp in such a way that you will be able to tighten or loosen it without having to remove anything, I always check my clamps once in a while to be sure they are tight.

Thank you for your advice .. i did put it on and put it on water,tested and seems great as of now thank you
