Any1 ever Fix a Tach?

Hi- my tach for my starboard motor only works when i jiggle the harness connected to the back of it, i narrowed it down to the tach having the problem not the plug or harness, Has any1 ever tooken one of these tachs apart? i know its just something loose inthere..? 98 speedster

I have fixed motorcycle tach's before. Bad soldier connections,blown capacitors,etc.

Especially if you pretty much know its just a bad connection, I would say go for it.
