Took carbs off a third time to clean and confirmed filters, 3 check valves, and blew compressed air in all cavities and pushed a wire through all cavities to confirm no clogs visible. Still dies when I go to wot but if I go to 3/4 choke and feather I can max the rpms out.
My specs are as follows: 1999 seadoo GTX Limited, 947cc ,dual carb BN46, carbs adjusted to 1 1/2 low and 0 high, the pto and mag are adjusted to open in-sink with the throttles( in-fact they were actually never touched from the rebuild adjustment were in-sink and did not require any adjustments. Work completed to date: Carbs have been rebuilt with all new seals, springs, check valves, diaphragms and new accelerator pump. Both rave valves have been inspected and cleaned. All grey hoses have been replaced, selector valve clean and working, pulled out the fuel pick up baffle and inspected and cleaned filter at bottom, clean fuel filter. still having the same problem, engines dies at wot in water and on a lift in water.
Question 1: What could be my problem?
Question2: When I apply 3/4 choke and feather I get full rpm, could it be the full suction problem, but everything is new?
Question 3: When I replace 2 of the 1/2 diameter check valves they were black in color and showed no signs of top or bottom but they appear to seat well, could this be my error?
Question 4: I'm not sure if the gas is bad but since the rpms run up with choke could the gas be causing my problem?
