Ok folks I am new to this forum and new to personal water crafts. I purchased two GTI's (2004 SE RFI and 2006 GTI 4Tec) this summer and have had a blast! The 2004 GTI has a 2 stroke 717 RFI engine. It goes about 50 mph handles good, goes through chop surprisingly well however splashes the driver right in the face. It goes through rough water much better than the 2006. The 2006 GTI has a 130 hp 4 stroke and goes about 53 mph but really pounds the waves of Lake St. Clair here in Michigan. I'd like to upgrade to non super charged 4-tecs with the faster 150 hp engines. I would like the hulls to handle rough water similar to my 2004 gti but maybe not splash water right at the driver. To the people who have bigger machines and ride really rough water what do you suggest? I'm just looking for a little more speed and the ability to handle really rough water for the ride across the lake. I'm thinking 2006 - 2010 4Tec's 2 or 3 seaters. Thanks for the advise and thanks for all who contribute to this forum. I have learned a lot already. Lake St. Clair is awesome for PWC's by the way! So many shallow cuts in the flats and bays!

Thanks,
Tim
