Ive done some searching and it seems there variations to what's the best pop-off pressure. With the small silver springs I can only get popoff to 20-23psi. Ive tried flexing the lever and cant seem to bump the pressure up. Ive tried flexing it both ways to no avail.
So, I pop in the taller brass springs that came with the kit and the pressure goes up to 45-55ish. My gauge could be better. They were out of the lower psi gauges so I had to settle for the one that goes to 300 psi and it's ticks are broad, not giving the best look at an exact psi. The manual calls for 38psi +/- 12psi. The brass springs seem to be on the high side I think.
So, what is too low and too high and what are the symptoms of each? Any tips on working with either spring and lever to get a better "happy medium"?
Thanks guys!
