I just got my GTX 951 running after having the engine rebuilt. While the engine was sent off, I rebuilt the carbs, replaced gas lines, fuel selector valve. repaired the fuel baffle etc. Same as I did with my two 94 SPX last year.
Man will this thing fly!!! The only problem is I have to "feather" the throttle when I take off. I adjusted the LSA's originally at 1 1/4. Had a long screw driver with me, so I adjusted in 1/4 turn and no difference. Then I adjusted out 1/4 turn and no difference. I noticed during the third adjustment a small smattering of oil under the vacuum hose going to the MAG RAVE. I didn't think much of it until I returned home and started looking at the hoses and found a crack in the line. I think this could be the contributing factor to the "hitch in her giddup." Does anyone have an Idea?
