I just repaired my F1 fuse in my fuel pickup and noticed that one motor runs off of the "On" nipple and one runs off of the "Res" nipple. The "on" pickup tube has a window cut in the side of it about four inches up from the bottom. The motor that is connected to the "on" nipple was cutting out with 15 gallons of fuel in the tank. Is this the wrong pickup assy.,bad design, or hooked up wrong? I thought about using a tee off of the "Res" line but, I am afraid of starving both engines of fuel. Is there a mod to modify the "on" pickup tube like the F1 fuse repair using a soldering gun to plastic weld? I do not want to carry around 15 gallons of extra fuel just so one motor won't cut out.
