98 SeaDoo SPX blowing rear 15 amp fuse

The trouble started when I would run it on choppy water, it would die but then start right up again. Finally it completely died. I checked the fuses and found the front 5 amp in the MPEM blown. I replaced it and it turned over but then wouldn’t turn over. The 5 amp was still good so I checked the rear electrical box fuses and found the 15 amp blown. I replaced it and it turned over but then I heard the 15 amp pop and it was blown again. I read in a forum about replacing the rectifier. I have a new one but haven’t replaced it yet. Any other thoughts would be greatly appreciated
 
It’s typically a bad VTS trim unit. Try unplugging all the wires to the trim unit. Then see if the fuses still blow. Bad VTS units are known to fry the MPEM too.
