I just bought a 98 Gtx RFI it's been in the shop few times now. It won't idle. They the shop got it idel on the trIaler. The ski won't idel in the water and it misses until 4500. Any thoughts.
Check voltage on battery while running on the hose. You should have 13.5-14 volts at 4000 rpm. Those things eat rectifiers. They also idle on 1 cylinder which I’ve never understood the purpose of so watch long no wake zones.
