98 gsxl VTS clicks

Hi, I know that it is probably the VTS modual. I read that a bad modual could damage a MPEM. Will removing the 7.5 amp fuse prevent this? I don't care for VTS at the moment.

Just remove the fuse and disconnect the wires inside the housing that go to the motor. Then there is no chance of problems...
