97 xp blows 15amp fuse at starter solenoid

i bought a non running ski and dont know the history haha....when i unplug connector at stator it wont blow 15amp in line fuse on wire 2-26. i check all wires to stator and only solid black wire 2-24. has continunity to ground, according to schematic it supposed to? if i unplug connector and jump wire2-24 to ground it blows?? i have no beep when lanyard installed, and no beep when put into diag mode. the beeper works and start switch works.what do u guys think ?must be a short in mpem? has anyone seen this? i read alot of posts about the 5amp fuseblowing but nothin about the in line 15amp. this mpem is only 3 years old according to sticker on back. does sea doo warrenty these? thanks for any input!

plug stator wire back in and unplug the rectifier, if it doesnt blow the fuse its the stator, if it does its either the rectifier or the mpem. I just had to do this and it ended up to be the stator and flywheel.

thanks for reply! i plugged in stator and unplugged rectifier/regulator connector it still blowes fuse. i can pull pin 2-24 and plug in everything with no fuses blowing? as soon as i plug in 2-24 pin fuse pops. also at mpem, i test and have continunity between pin 2-24 and 2-26???? that shouldnt happen rite? thanks again for reading
