97 spx low speed idle screw vibrates out??

Has anyone else seen low speed screws vibrate out? While out this weekend, ski was starting and running well. After two days, it was hard to start and after starting, would act very loaded up for a minute or two before it cleared. When back to the beach, I noticed the Mag carb screw was out between 3-4 turns and PTO was out about 2. I set them both initially at ~1.5 turns out when I rebuilt the carbs last year. Is this a common problem and if so, is there a quick fix?

Its the low speed mixture screw--brain fart I'm sure!

was the o-ring replaced along with, cleaning the corrosion on/around the spring?

I don't think I replaced the o-ring--I removed it and cleaned the passages, etc. but didn't replace it.....perhaps thats the culprit?
