My first question is what could be the issue if there's water coming from around the impeller area? There seems to be what looks like a "weep hole on the dead center of each impeller hump in the bilge area. I also have some coolant system leak issues I need to address but I have no idea what could be causing this leak from the bottom area.
Also, the engines have a real low idle in and out of the water and is also not quick out of the whole to get up the RPM's. The engines are also running very rich. The RPM's are 800-1000 in the water and maybe 1500 out of the water. I took the flame arrestor and air silencer off and cleaned both up really well. I'm wondering if it's something needing adjusting with the idle speed screw or the low speed screw. Is it hard to adjust these guys with the flame arrestor on and the silencer as well?
I appreciate any info or feedback that any of you guys have. I've learned alot about getting this boat back into shape just from this site.
