Hi, can anybody send me a picture of where the water supply and want to return the hoses go? I think I have them backwards on my 97 GTX. Just need to know coming out of the transom to the engine head. Thank you in advance

As I had pointed out yesterday, you do have them backwards, switch them around at the hull. The one with the water valve goes to the connection on the head at the very top point. Look for the little arrows on the head and you'll see it. Follow the flow, it comes off the jet pump, to the water valve, then to the head and exits on the other line out the ski where the hose connects.

Looking at the second pic, the jet pump can't build pressure at the water valve.

Thank you for the reply. But I’m a little confused. The connection on the transom closest to the muffler that has the ball valve is the connection that is connected to the water hose to do the flush? That’s why this ball valve was installed by the previous owner to do the flush. And you’re saying to switch the hoses at the transom? If not would the hose with the ball valve go to the upper port on top of the engine? Thank you again for your input

When doing the flush on the hose it flows in reverse. The shut off valve is in correct placement with the lines reversed back the other way. It's not there for doing a flush. The shut off valve is there for when you tow on the water to prevent water from possibly flowing and flooding the engine, which can occur if tow speeds get over 5 mph. Without the shut off valve, it's recommended to pinch the line before the water valve on top the muffler when towing.

Yes, switch the lines at the transom, it'll fix your issue.

Thank you thank you thank you! I will switch the transom lines by moving the ball valve line over and insure that line goes to my intake on the head.
