Hello All, Newbie to the board.
Did a top end rebuild to my 97 GTX with the 787 engine, cleaned up the carbs and replaced all the old grey fuel line as advised by many at the same time. Put everything back together sprayed fuel into the carbs and it fired right up. Ran the ski for a couple of minutes and all was good, no issues. Put the spark arrestor back on and left it till lake day. Few days later, tried to start it up prior to going out, would not start up, finally took the arrestor back off and sprayed fuel into the carbs...fired right up, what gives ! As said, all fuel lines are new, carbs have been taken apart and cleaned, and it runs if you spray fuel into the carbs, and it continues to run until you shut it down, so it must be getting fuel to continue to run for a few minutes. Any suggestions would be great, I am starting to wonder if I am missing something.
Thank you
