I've been trying to figure out why my XP hesitates and wont rev up for many months now. Basically wasted the whole summer.
I had installed a R&D intake, and had the carbs re-jetted originally and had the same problem but it would not go past 4600rpm. I thought it had to do with tuning the low & hi speed screws but I've tried every imaginable combination.
This past weekend after hours of trying to tune in water, I gave up and put another set of stock carbs with stock jet sizes and stock intake on the machine. It ran much smoother at idle, not as much of a rough idle, but still same problem. Wont rev up, this time past 2800rpm.
not really sure what to do at this point any ideas.
Compression in the machine is about 145psi on both, has spark.
